Camellia L. is a precious medicinal plant with 16 different species and high economic value. In Tam Dao National Park, Vinh Phuc, rich in ingredients. Anthracnose severe disease caused by fungi on the leaves of L., however, research fungus causing anthracnose Vietnam remains limited. this study, anthracnose-infected tamdaoensis Ninh et Hakoda Park were collected, causative agent was isolated. Eleven fungal strains that cause obtained through gene sequence identification internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region. One strain selected to isolate DNA determine ITS Based ITSsequence, C. Hakodawas Colletotrichum siamense TD1. The determined be 522 bp length, 52.30% guanine-cytosine (GC) content, registered GenBank accession number OK560718. Pathogenicity tests conducted fulfil Koch’s postulates. This first report leaf spots Hakodacaused TD1in Vietnam. results provide helpful information for management are necessary future studies selecting disease-resistant varieties
